KOLOB CANYON REVIEW 2022
ucda design award winner - award of excellence

As a team of designers, we collectively found the literature to focus on themes of the fleeting nature of life. With this in mind, the theme for the 30th volume was Memento Mori. This visual exploration of Memento Mori works hand in hand with the literature it accompanies and allows for a reminiscence of the human experience. As part of the design team, I was integral in determining the theme, choosing typography, crafting the layout, and creating the imagery seen throughout the journal. I designed the cover for this project and incorporated my grandmother's birth and death certificates in there as well!

TYPE DRIVES CULTURE

For my publication design class, we had the opportunity to design a conference report. I chose to focus my design on type based materials. At the start of this project, our professor assigned us a theme to include throughout our design. I was assigned the Miami beach post office. The whole book was printed in black and white and I added customized stickers after to the design to emulate the look of a stamped package.
